Mental health problems affect one in four of us but there’s still a stigma attached to opening up and talking about it.
This year we're running Time to Talk Derbyshire. The campaign aims to encourage everyone to be more open about mental health – to talk, to listen, to change lives.
What are you doing to start the conversation? You can get ideas about how to start talking about mental health.
You can email your story or ideas about how to start a conversation about mental health by email: asch.time2talk@derbyshire.gov.uk and they’ll share your tips on social media during the Time to Talk campaign.
You can also fill in your own mental health pledge and share it on social media – include @DCCPublicHealth and we’ll share your stories.
If you need to talk about how you're feeling then the Derbyshire Mental Health helpline is open 7 days a week, tel: 0800 028 0077.
